Do I have to buy a Chromebook from the school? |
No. However, if your Chromebook is lost or damaged while in your possession, you will be fined for that loss/damage.

What are the fines associated with Chromebook loss/damage? |
The fines related to Chromebooks reflect the cost to replace or repair. The fines are subject to increase or decrease based on the actual costs. However, based on the information provided from the district to our school in October 2016, fines were:

What if someone else damaged my Chromebook? |
Ultimately, you are responsible for your Chromebook. Any damage/loss to your Chromebook will be charged to you. You can appeal specific fines to the Vice Principal's office (not the library).

Can I buy insurance to cover possible loss or damage? |
Yes. During the first few weeks of the school year you can buy insurance. If you are a new ECVHS student, you can buy insurance the last 2 calendar days of the month you started school. Please click here for more information about buying insurance.

When did I agree to all of these procedures? |

What if I forgot my Chromebook at home today? Can I get a day loaner? |
It is important that you bring your Chromebook to school fully charged each day.
Currently, we have a limited number of Chromebooks available for day loaners. While Chromebook supplies last, students can come to the library before the end of nutrition break to get a loaner Chromebook:
